Largest single volume print I've seen from Prusa Mendel

I've been sampling textures and large volume printing on my Prusa Mendel. This is my largest yet. Anyone who's interested can check it out on my blog : http://reprap-art.blogspot.com/2012/05/3d-printing-natural-forms-ii.html. Some may find it useful.

Thats awesome! Someday I'll print something full plate size, but for right now, I dont have the patience for the slicing and printing that you did! Nicely done!

I wonder if you attached some sort of heating element like a mini hair dryer to each of the four corners if you could prevent the warping and crack.

Interesting idea, but I've got another solution that I will be testing soon. I've built a repstrap and designed a heat bed that will concentrate more heat on the corners and less in the interior (where I would think the internal heat build up would dissipate more slowly). Maybe this will even out the cooling a little better. You an see my bed here: Heated
