Might be worth mentioning where abouts you are in the UK.
You might have a local makerspace or someone nearby who could help you out.

If you cant find someone to do you a favour. You could try 3dhubs.com for somebody nearby to do it commecially for you.
If your stuck and want it posted im on 3d hubs myself trying to earn enough to pay for my printer.

I'm in Wandsworth, South London. I had 3DHubs print it and the quality was crap, I'm still trying to get a refund but Daan (the admin) isn't answering my emails yet!

Thats a shame.
If the quality was crap you shouldnt have had to pay for it.

Some of us have pride in what we print others just want to knock it out.

Theres a hub i know called smoothie nearer you that i know takes a lot of pride in what he prints.
And im down here in Croydon if you want to give it a try.

Sorry at the moment i cant even see your file as im away from my office and on an android device.
Have you got a link to thingiverse or any other site with a picture of it so i can see it?

Ah, found an extension to my file manager on android that can open the compression you used.

Not exactly rocket science to print those.
If its any help just yesterday i reprinted my x-carriage with some modifications and its strong as it can possibly be.
I can print them for you and i can garuntee if theyre not up to snuff you wont have to pay. Even though ive forgotten how to spell garuntee.
I can print them in abs, black, white, red, yellow or a nasty florescent green.
They will probably even print pretty well in the Nylon ive been experimenting with.
You can pick them up from me and reject them if theyre not good enough.

Heres a few abs bits for my printer.

And a verry thin and fine detail quadcopter part i did for someone this week.

Pm me or contact me through my hub if interested.

Thx for that Gordon. From a customer point of view, 3dhubs is setup so that you pay before a job is started, thus the problem I've got now - a lump of plastic and I'm out of pocket. Daan (support) has ignored my emails since Thursday so I might have to go to PayPal directly to get my money back. So I hope you can understand why I'm hesitant to go 3dhubs again, I really don't like the work ethic I've seen so far.

Sorry for the mini-rant but it's really getting on my nerves now and I haven't been able to use my printer for about a week and a half.

There are two main problems:
1> The first few layers (upto about 1.5mm) bulge out and are not flat. The x-carriage is the worst offender. This means that when I bolt the pieces together the two surfaces do not mate flush so the bracket can rock along the x axis.

2> On the back of the x-carriage there are insets for 4 LM8UUs. They are a snug fit. They fitted on my original carriage, they fit on my first prototype for this modified carriage. They will not go in the x-carriage he printed for me. It may be down to the plastic he used. I requested ABS, I'm not sure if it is. To me ABS has a kinda processed cheese feel to it, his prints are shiney and brittle/hard with no "give".

Also neither piece needs support material to print, but he used "support everywhere" (in Cura speak) so the zip-tie slots on the x-carriage were filled with gunk along with the nut-traps and zip-tie holes on the bracket. I don't know what the working-practise is but if I was charging people for prints I would be doing the clean-up on the items.

As for your offer, it is appreciated but until 3dhubs support at least answer my emails, (they had time to send 2 or 3 emails when I placed the order.) they will not be getting any more money from me.
