Voltage Rumba board

Hello

i am trying to get the steppers (nanotech st5909s1008) in my 3d printer to work. i´ve found the current for the motors in the data sheet, which is 0,67A for bipolar serial wiring. As I´m using a rumba with DRV8825 stepper drivers with 100mOhm, I´ve set the voltage between the potentiometer and the gnd pin to 0,35V, is that right? Currently the board runs on 12V, can I set the voltage on the trafo to 24V without changing anything else? Which setting should the current limiter on the trafo have? Right now the steppers move, but when the federate is set to high, the motor won´t start moving and starts vibrating, why is that happening? Also I can only move in one direction (software is Repetier).

Thanks for your help in advance
