Lin Engineering Wiring Colors

I purchased some Lin Engineering 4218L-01-10 for use with the Pololu A4983 stepper controller board and after much frustration, myself and a few other IRC Channel purveyors discovered the color coding from the Lin Engineering FAQ is incorrect, at least for this particular model.

The correct color coding is...
Red = B2
Blue = A2
Green = A1
Black = B1

Hope this helps alleviate some unnecessary troubleshooting down the road!
Special thanks to FrankNeon, peer, and Smoreplay

The FAQ you linked to is actually correct. It shows the A coil is red / blue and the B coil black / green. Pololu confusingly label their driver outputs as coils 1 and 2, each end being labelled A & B.

So the connections you posted are correct but they are also consistent with the LIN FAQ . It is just confusing how Pololu label their pins, but if you look at their wiring diagram here it all makes sense: [www.pololu.com]
