It might be a pot adjustment, but I don't know what pins to measure voltage from, and the minimum I can get (measuring from the pot to GND) is 1.71V

The motor makes a very loud high pitched whine and is impossible to turn, but won't move when I give it a move command. it's running off a 12v 18A power supply.

The old drivers work, but one went kaput so we decided to upgrade, but the new stuff isn't working now sad smiley

drv8825 have different micostepping, you should set it to 1/16th micro stepping using the following table

Jumper off is LOW, Jumper on is HIGH
