Are the Hotend and Hotbed pins locked?
December 05, 2013 04:19AM
Hi,

I am not using a hotbed on my Sanguinololu, and I would like to use the spare onboard mosfet to control some lighting. I can use a "M42 P4 S255" to turn on pin 4 on the header board easily enough, but when I edit the pins.h file and disable the hotbed pin (changing it to either -1 or 4), I still can't control pin 12 manually. I have also tried setting pin 12 as the fan pins, but I can't turn it on with fan control either. Any ideas on how to do this?

I notice the hotend and hotbed pins are marked with an exclamation mark, maybe this has something to do with my problem?

Thanks for looking,
