Skeinforge wont slice - fails - help!

We have started dabbling with Skeinforge in hopes to fix our Rep2 issues. However, after we "Save All" then close and go back to Makerware, select profile and hit "Make" it thinks for a while and then fails during slicing before even making it to the printer. Anyone know why this is happening? I have tried stopping the conveyor and restarting with no luck.

I have no experience with Makerware, I understand you use Skeinforge independently before printing. Are there messages in the console when you run Skeinforge? Gcode is really produced? Can Makerware access to your Gcode directory (question of permissions)?

[edit] I understand you set parameters with Skeinforge then run it with Makerware: what if you also slice with Skeinforge and then try to print with Makerware if possible?
