python problem in pronterface?

Hello everyone,

I've just finished a Mendel-build after months of problem-solving. I use pronterface and played a bit with the axes, even did a 5mm extrude from pronterface. But now I try to load an STL...and no matter what STL I load, I get:

hmm sorry guys for the double post, the forum gave me an error saying my post was spam...but the first one was posted after all. This can be deleted, but I can't find a delete-button? smiling smiley

Have a look at the slicecommand setting in the options dialogue. Perhaps that has an un-balanced quote in it.

My slicecommand option says:

python skeinforge/skeinforge_application/skeinforge_utilities/skeinforge_craft.py $s

is that "balanced"? Should the dollar+s be htere?

That looks OK to me.

What happens if you load the file in skienforge directly and then load the gcode in pronterface?

Problem solved! I did a total reïnstall of the latest pronterface with Slic3r integrated. I can now load the STL file...I'm on to the next problem...which is my printer X-axis going out of bounds when trying to print the leveling object from the calibration page.
