Fill Problem (solved)

Fill Problem (solved)

I have just started using SF and have a problem.
I am printing a Y-AXIS_BRACKET for testing. (attached)
The skin is good, the dimension is good, the solid fill in the base is good.
BUT the fill between the holes and the walls, and in the top half where there is only holes and walls is very sparse.
I am using a line file pattern, and it works in the middle.
I assume the narrow space between the hole walls and outer walls are "fill".
Is that right?
What are they?
How do i find out?
How do i fix it?

I found the problem by reading more fill problems.
It is not a fill issue as such, but the geometry of the part not leaving enough space to do the fill.
Changed the "Extra Shells" to 0, and the fill fits between the holes and the perimeter.

Awesome, I just came here to read up about why my bar clamps weren't getting filled around the curve. Thank you for following up on your own question. grinning smiley

Exactly! Same problem here. I set the three "Extra Shells" options to 0 and it is now printing the bar clamp solid.

Thanks,
