The last version of Slic3r (that you probably had installed along with printrun) can now do support.

Most of my technical comments should be correct, but is THIS one ?
Anyway, as a rule of thumb, always double check what people write.

PrintRun is a current project still under active development.
PrintRun is NOT a slicer program and as such will NEVER have the ability to print supports.
If you are using Slic3r as your slicer program then YES it now does print support as does also Skeinforge and SFACT.
