Wolfstrap Rails and Drawer Slides Confusion

Hi,
I'm just getting started on building my Wolfstrap and I've been reading the pages at [www.reprap.org] among many others.

The BOM specifies wooden parts called "drawer slides" for both the x and y axis. Then it mentions in non-wood parts "rails". I figure the rails are the metal parts that allow the wood parts attached to them to move (I've always known these as drawer slides). If that's correct, what are the wooden "drawer slides" that are mentioned?

Thanks!

This wiki page is a bit a mess. It just copies some other pages together. For example, any electronics will work for a WolfStrap, not only a RAMPS.

The wooden "drawer slides" are apparently the planks to mount the slides onto. The sildes them selfs are like these:

Prefer the single staged ones over the dual staged ones.

P.S.: This is the wiki WolfStrap page: [reprap.org] . English and german version available, german is the origin.
