I have a Sintron Kossel, built it ran it for months, it was surprisingly good. I already had a SmartrapPlus, and soon realised that the build area on the Kossel was too small for my model making needs. On top of that, this week all three top brackets split in the same place without provocation. No idea why. I could get injection moulded ones from China, or replacements from Sintron, but I really need a second printer that is better suited to my build size needs.
The way I look at it, I could buy the Sintron Prusa acrylic frame/rod kit from Ebay, and transfer the parts over. Or, I could build something totally different.
I like the look of the M Prime One, it's a very neat design. However, it would be great if I could use the 2020 extrusions from the Kossel. I have seen one built that way, but no links to how it was done. Does anyone know of a Reprap that can be built as a DIY project that is along the lines of the Tronxy X1, M Prime One etc?
