Z-Axis Problem Prusa i3v 10"

My 3D Printer is having printing problems, it is the Prusa i3v 10″ and after it prints a layer or two the z-axis moves up to start the new layer, but it comes back down to the previous layer and squishes the print.
Any Suggestions?
