Hello - I have a RAMPS 1.4 and unfortunately my d8 is not working. How can I modify Marlin to allow me to use the d9 port as a replacement for the d8 port? Is this even possible, as in, will I even be able to heat up my heatbed in pronterface using the modification ? Thanks!
D8 is 11amps
D9 is only 5amps (shared with everything else), if you where to connect the bed to it you will blow the 5amp fuse.. and no just changing the fuse is not going to fix it isn’t designed for 11amps
