Hi guys.

I'd like a way to indicate a specified automated waiting period followed by automated resume printing in the gcode. Or, otherwise point me in the right direction.

Any ideas or help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Working with a modified mendel tricolour.

Yes you can do this using the G4 gcode, see [reprap.org]. Also useful is M226 which pauses the print until you command the printer to resume printing.
