Why my printing broke off suddenly?

Hello,

I printed a revolver from thingiverse:[www.thingiverse.com]. My printer is prusa i3 with Melzi 2.0 board.I slice my stl file with Cura and print via USB connection from PC to printer. The control software is Repetier Host.

When I print the 1st part, everything is fine. But when I print the 2nd part model(about 4hours needed), the printer broke off suddenly during the printing. I am sure I don't have a wrong operation.

Can someone tell me what's the problem?

See the pictures.

I get this sometimes when I load an STL file before the slicing software (in my case Slic3r) is done saving the file. Thus, I only get the layers that are saved at the time...

When printing via USB a poor quality USB cable, electrical noise etc can cause the printer board to reset and therefore stop the print.
If you add an LCD controller with SD card you can slice the file on your PC then copy it to the SD card and print without having a PC connected.
