Extruder Stepper Motor not working.
February 02, 2015 01:14PM
I recently finished assembling a Pursa i3 with LCD. Everything is working except the extruder stepper motor. I checked the motor on the x axis driver and it works fine. It has provisions for two extruders. I tried both with the same results. I am unable to identify the board that I have. All of the boards on ebay have an adapter that comes with the lcd panel The board I have has the lcd adapter built into the board. Before I start buying replacement boards such as a ramp, I would like to reinstall the firmware. However, I didn't get any firm ware with the board and I don't know what kind of board it is. I am using Repetier software. The software that came with the board was corrupt, so I down loaded the software. Everything else is working as it should.

There is a setting in marlin (repetier) configuration.h that prevents extrusion with a low hotend temperature.
Set this on zero or below your roomtemp. Just for testing.
