Hi All,
Been trying to find other posts that present with similar problems that I have. I humbly ask you all to help me out with this nigh-on infuriating thing that i can't solve.
So calling a G28 from pronterface would result in the correct displaying of the z-height offset both on pronterface as well as on the display panel(RepRap discount smart controller).
However, after performing G28, calling G29 would result in the correct measurements on pronterface, but a larger z-height displayed on the display panel. This would result in the nozzle printing in mid-air.
I have attached my configuration.h, as well as provided a video of the problem i am facing:-

As a note, i have been reflashing the firmware, followed by m502 and m500 on pronterface in an attempt to set eeprom same as the firmware.
Please help! I really don't know how to rectify it!
