Prusa Mendel i3 thoughts? Is this a good kit?

Hi,

I've never purchased a 3D printer before but am considering ordering my first one. I found a kit that is very inexpensive for the Mendel i3 and have three questions:

1) What are your thoughts on the Mendel i3 in general, in terms of precision, accuracy, and reliability?

2) How does it compare to other similarly priced 3D printers?

3) Does this look like a good kit?






It comes with an Ultimaker1.5.7 control board.

In general the Prusa i3 is a nice printer to start with.

It is a good choice to have a prusa i3. Good accuracy,as 0.1mm. And be reliable.
Compare with Delta Robot, Prusa i3 is better to print some good models.
How much does it cost?
Only the outter part is not enough to say it is good. The most important is whether it can print some good models.

With shipping, it would cost about $336. The minimum order quantity is 5 pcs, but I'm sure I could sell the others on ebay since this is a pretty good price (I think?). I have ordered from this company before and they are legit.

It would be hard to say what quality you can expect from this kit.
It looks neat though
