Wiring for hot end and heated bed

Hi, I am newbie here and trying to assemble Prusa Mendel i2. Just had a quick question about the wire used to connect
1. Electronic board to heater/thermistor on hot end and heated bed
2. Power supply to electronic board

Is it the same wire used for wiring motors, etc or a thicker wire is required? I am currently using these wires (http://www.mixshop.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=13&products_id=49), which look pretty thin.

Appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Rohan

The thermistors can use the same size wires as the motors, but I'd use larger wires for the heaters and power supply. I think I used 16-18 gauge on my i3.

The gauge of wire needed us determined by the current you intend to carry. The heaters, and most especially the heated bed draw large currents, the motors are somewhat less, and the thermistor, less still. The suggestion of 16 to 18 for the heated bed is good. A birthday smaller for the hit ends - 20 or 22 would be ok. The same for the motors and as small as 24 for the thermistor. If in doubt, go bigger.
