software control of ATX power supply

Hi all, I have a home built printer roughly based on the Everbot machine complete with Sanguinololu 1.3a board with ramps and Marlin software and as it is located outside in the garage I would like to be able to control the ATX power supply switch on and off with a Gcode command at the beginning and end of a print job. I am given to understand that the M80 and the M81 are the commands to do this, but I am unsure how they operate, I can only assume that some connection is made or broken between the Green and Black wire in the power supply in place of the standard paperclip, but I have no idea of the connection to the sanguinololu board to do this, can someone please help.
