First timer, I was think of purchasing a Prusia i3 kit from Makerfarm and I only have one PSU to use, I think it hits the right specs but I thought I'd check (refer to picture). Also, is there any place better then makerfarm to buy a Prusa i3 kit in Australia?

If it is only 240watts as it says that very marginal. It appears to have 12v at both 11.5A and 7.5A. You need a minimum of 17 A and 20 or more is better. I would look for a larger one.

Have you tried asking about a supplier on the Australian forum?

Okay, I'll look around for a bigger one. I've contacted makerfarm about suppliers and am waiting for a response.

I'm going to be getting some Prusa i3 aluminium plates made up, let me know if you're interested in that rather than a kit. I'm in Sydney.

Hmm seems good, I'll use it as a fallback, a mate of mine just upgraded his computer's PSU so he's giving me his old one. It's a corsair 550 (I think) and it specs should suit the Prusia i3 (I think, I'll be double checking before doing anything regretable).
