Pet110, on another thread, reported getting the balance of his parts today. Things are looking up!

James has replied to the PayPal Resolution Centre issue that I raised last week saying that the package that is on its way to me (sitting in Bristol as I type) is the full and final balance of the parts for my ABSPrusa >grinning smiley<

I guess I'm going to be busy next week! My wife will become YARR widow!

OK, now got all my parts and building has re-commenced. The only thing missing is the mounting board for the control electronics but I don't think that was in thereprapkitstore.com BOM. I've managed to sort something out myself. I don't expect I'll be contributing to this thread again as I'm happy as Larry!

i don't like such threads, where all the little facts get lost.
Made a wiki-page: [reprap.org]
and added my problem there. Would be nice if someone would fix it there thumbs up

See [reprap.org] for the correct instructions for your kit.

Yes. Mainly I answer the same questions in this forum over and over again.

Although it's probably one question you shouldn't need to. The letter that came with the first batch of parts contained the link to the correct instructions (unfinished instructions, but mostly there).

Anywho pretty close to finished now, just got to connect up the thermistors and heater resistor. I had trouble crimping the wires to the little terminals seems fiddly.

- I need to find up the correct VREF for the motors (SY42STH47-1684A) I'm hoping they're already set correctly.
- I also need the correct table for the supplied thermistors no idea what they are, guessing EPCOS 100K (measures 109K room temp).

This is my first time building a RepRap or any 3D printer. Everything seems to be going fairly smooth but I'll reserve judgement until I start printing my messy pile of plastic grinning smiley.

I doubt the VREF pots will be set to anything in particular. A lot of users seem to expect this but I wouldn't. If it is a Pololu or a Melzi set it to 0.4V to start with for 1A. For a stepstick set it to 1.6V.

I am pretty sure James uses Epcos 100K thermistors.

So today (Germany) i also got my second parcel smiling bouncing smiley
Only thing missing: •Micro SD card for stand alone printing.
Not a catastrophy but would still have been nice.
Maybe you others got the little SD, maybe not..

As i do not know how to delete my wiki-page, i changed it into something else: [reprap.org]

Ideas welcome.

Thanks, I guess it just the hope it's something else I wouldn't have to fiddle with but I'd always check. Although the Sanguinololu has a tested sticker on but that's probably for the ATMEGA chip but could also lead to confusion.
