Hello,
I fear there is a topic on this behalf but I sware I couldn't fount any.

I have bought a chinese 3D-printer kit with controller board and 2004 LCD display. As the main board was been toasted for some reason I bought an arduino, a RAMPS and a display adaptor (hard to find; most common with display). Now all is here and I load the marlin firmware onto the arduino after configuration was completed. After that I connected the display with the adaptor but the display stays black (or blue to be exact). As I press the encoder button beeper give sa little 'blib' and LCD lights up for shorter than one second. After that all is normal again which means 'no display'. Doo anyone have any suggestion what to do here?

This is the whole LCD/SD section of my configuration.h file. Can anyone find any problems?

Many single board controllers have the lcd cables backwards compared to a display adaptor board.

So you need to turn you cables around 180 degrees, but the plug key stops you..

fortunately I didn't have to be such brutal ... I just connect two turned plugs on the two cables ... and all is fine. Thanks!!
