I am not a software or controls engineer and I am trying to map the process involved in developing a 3D printer from grounds up.
I am not looking for a tutorial but rather development road map and keywords used along the way.
- What are the keywords used to develop the machine controls, firmware, and how would it interface with the 3D printing software.
- What are the software/controls skills needed to develop a 3D printer with different configurations.
- how to interface the newly setup machine with slicing and CAM program so the right Gcode is generated.
