Just wondering if anyone knows of any implimentations of closed loop systems running a flavor of Marlin? I've read a lot about people being able to hook an arduino up to a linear encoder and get feedback with a simple sketch but I've not seen any implimentation in a working CNC. I can't even guess what the firmware would do with such information or what part of the firmware the code would be added to. Maybe there is someone out there that finds this of interest to themselves and I can tag along? If not, can someone point me to someone who is working on something like this?
