October 10, 2011 12:13AM
Hello,

I have Gen7 with Teacup.
If i send G1 E3 F1200, the extruder run, if i send again, he run again.
This is worng no??
Because if i send G1 X100, the car move to 100, if i send G1 X100 again, the car still stop!

If i send to extruder G1 E-100, the extruder run reverse. But the skeinforge dont make this gcode.

how to solve this problem?

thanks

Hello this is not a bug. Its just that Teacup has Relative extrusion turned on by default.

To fix it either change it in Skeinforge under dimension from Absolute to Relative.

Or In teacup:
Quote
Teacup Config.h
/** \def E_ABSOLUTE
Some G-Code creators produce relative length commands for the extruder, others absolute ones. G-Code using absolute lengths can be recognized when there are G92 E0 commands from time to time. If you have G92 E0 in your G-Code, define this flag.
*/
// #define E_ABSOLUTE Un-comment this line by deleting "//"
