Marlin incomplete LCD menu

I've loaded the latest Marlin 1.0.2 sucessfully onto my RAMPS 1.4 clone (MKS Base 1.2) with REPRAP_DISCOUNT_SMART_CONTROLLER. I'm expecting to get a menu tree that looks like the following:

However, my menu has only a fraction of these entries. For example, the first screen only has "Prepare", "Control" and "No SD Card". And, when I try to set the home offsets, I get an annoying beep and get thrown out to the Info Display.

How do I get the complete menu system?

The menue structure is pretty smart.
It only shows the lines that make sense, eg.:
If you haven´t started a print yet, it will not show " pause print "
If you only have one extruder, it will only show nozzle1 temp. a.s.o
