?Repetier Firmware: can in handle filament blending?

My question is around the potential for filament color blending with up to 3 extruders. we have seen the potential for having multiple extruders, and E3D came out with the single head extruder, and there's a 3-filament diamond hotend nozzles just shipping to backers from indiegogo, and a 4-way nozzles on the horizon... they can all do multi-color prints.

so, the next logical question is, if I wanted to have multiple extruders push filament at the same time, for the same extrusion rate, to simulate a range of color spectrums, using just the simple start of 255,255,255 RYB, for example. would that be possible with repetier firmware and client software and slicer hosts? if so, how?

There is such thing as "color-.stl" fileformat, where color information is included.
Now we need a board that can handle 3 or more extruders. ( 5 would be nice for cyan, magenta, yellow, black, white )
The only board I know is the duel board with arduino due processor.
But the guys who developed the diamond-nozzle, may have their own design in the pipeline?

Time will tell, if there is demand for FDM full color printers.
