Bug In firmware (20100702)?
July 09, 2010 02:32PM
Hi,

I'm trying to upload the newest firmware to my Sanguino (20100702). And "using" motherboard 1.

Yet I get the following message...

 In member function 'void cartesian_dda::set_units()':
error: 'class extruder' has no member named 'stepsPerMM' In member function 'int extruder::sampleTemperature()':
 In function 'void process_string(char*, int)':

Any Ideas?

Hi,
Same thing happens with both Sanguino version (20100702) and (20100628) when selecting motherboard 1.

Any Ideas would be of help thanks

I contracted Adrian and he posted a fix. I can now compile the code, but in the host software (20100702) I get the reading 0 for current temprature.

[reprap.svn.sourceforge.net]

Yet it works fine with the 20100308 firmware and host software.

Can someone confirm this with a direct drive motherboard?

Ok,

fixed...

"Ah! Yes - the latest host expects reports of bed temperature (even if there is no heated bed). Fixed that (so it reports 0 degrees). Try the latest firmware."

Thanks for a quick fix Adrian!
