Hi, I am building my own 3d-printer. It has a build volume measuring 480*350*280mm. In the future it will have dual bowden extruders, heated bed and heated chamber.
But for now I am just trying to get the basic working. I am using a RADDS 1.5 with RAPS128 drivers and a UDOO quad (board computer with integrated Arduino due).
I have some problems getting the firmware working properly. I am using repetier 0.92.3.
1. Problem: I can't get the SD reader working, all I get is "SD init fail" and I am stuck in that loop. I have tried many several different SD-cards (all about 1-2 gb), tried both FAT and FAT32.
2. Problem: I use two motors for the x-axis and each motor has its own driver. Everything works perfectly when moving the axis through the controls on the display. But when I use repetier host or pronterface the second x-axis motor (E2 driver on the RADDS) "locks" making it impossible to move the x-axis. The motors are mirrored and mechanically synced. can anyone explain this?
Hope someone can help
