I've just got my first printer moving under it's own power (prusa i2) and am using marlin FW. I have really slow z axis movement when using repetier in manual mode. X and Y move quick and crisp at expected speeds, but Z is really slow. I haven't measured it exactly but but when I tell the Z to move 10mm it looks like it moves that amount so steps per mm have got to be pretty close. In the firmware I have Z movement set at 100mm/s but it's more like 10mm/min in real life. For a homing speed I have 100mm/min and it looks like it moves that fast, i.e. homing is a lot faster but is set lower and that seems off.
I'm brand spankin new at this so I'm sure I'm missing something probably pretty obvious but I can't find it and could use some help.
