difference between x and y axis in delta 3d printer
September 10, 2014 03:37PM
Hello, i have built a delta printer "rostock style", all part are cnc made (+-0.01 error), i have done all the possibile calibrations but when i print i have an error/difference between x and y axis , if i print a cube ( whichever dimension) i can measure about 0.3 mm of difference between x and y dimensions. Someone can help me? Can i correct this error with repetier firmware parameters?

Thanks to all!!!

If the difference is a constant 0.3mm for all cube sizes, then to me that suggests either you have 0.3mm more backlash in one direction compared to the other, or the nozzle isn't extruding uniformly in all directions. You might like to try rotating the nozzle a quarter turn to see if the 0.3mm difference rotates with it.
