Set Marlin To Use Extruder 2 As Primary

I just recently built a Prusa, with a single extruder. On my Ramps 1.4, the mosfet for hotend 1 is bad. I've got a new Ramps on order (as well as some mosfets for safe keeps), but until those arrive is there a way I can set Marlin to use the 2nd hotend (and if need be, extruder) connections as my main extruder with the first one being doa? Not sure if this is possible through configuration.h or if I should change the actual pin definitions in pins.h (setting HEATER_0_PIN to 8).

Use another one and change pin assignment in your firmware. From the electrical point of view, heater outputs and thermistor inputs are entirely independent, you can mix them freely.

Thanks! That's pretty much what I thought. Actually though, I did get playing with it more last night and found out it was just a cracked trace going to the mosfet. My old eyes couldn't see it, but once I got it under the magnifying glass, it stuck out like a sore thumb.

Good to know this in the future though!!!!
