First off I am not sure if this is the right section, but I suspect the problem is in Marlin. I am running Marlin on a RAMBo. I've attached a 100k thermistor to my hotend and plugged in the heating coil, fan leads, and thermistor leads. I have 12V supplied to each of the 3 power ports on the board. My stepper motors work fine. When I touch the thermistor I can see the temp rising in Pronterface.
My issue is that I can not get my extruder to heat up at all. I am getting a reading off of my thermistor, but when I tell it to heat up the temp never goes us, and I measure 0 volts across the heating coil leads. I also tried to send M106 to turn on the fan and I get nothing. I searched through the Marlin config file to see if anything obvious jumped out to me, but I found nothing.
What did I miss? Are there any diagnostic tests I can do that will make this easier?
