Z bed cantilever

So I made a cantilevered bed out of wood for an upcoming build. How should I attach the bearings (12mm rods)? Also, will wood be strong enough for a 300mm square bed?

The photos and diagrams you posted made it nice and easy to help you?

What type of drive will you be using? Pneumatic / hydraulic pistons? wood screw?

A flanged bearing would be best

I suppose you could jam an open bearing in a block of wood
that is used as a bed support
and use screws to attach to bed

What does Z cantilever have to do with Core XY?
don't see a "Z" in core XY

People just post anyplace with any title.

This may have been better titled "Wooden Bed with no photos or diagrams"

Thanks for the thought of a good subject title and choosing the right topic area?

Well, usually you have the bed cantilevered from from the Z axis on a corexy. In fact, that's how I'm doing one with Makerslide.
