I've just seen that in a cookies factory.
After a few searches, it's an Adept Hornet 565 used with conveyor belts to sort things.

It seems to be an elegant and innovative direct drive delta design, no ?

No more belt needed to be tuned,
no more belt wear
less friction

more arm inertia
probable more powerful motor (perhaps servos) needed
probable use of reduction gears
What do you think about it ?
