CubeX original hotend with RAMPS

(Sorry if this question has already been answered as I am new to RepRap and 3D printing specific hardware. It seems all of the CubeX RAMPS conversions I've seen are replacing the original CubeX hotend with another RapRap hotend, but I want to keep/salvage/reuse as many parts as possible. Unfortunately, I haven't been able find any data sheet or details on the CubeX's hotend anywhere.)

So, can the original hotend that comes with the CubeX work with RAMPS?

If anyone knows the answer that would be fine. Otherwise, what do I have to measure to determine whether it will work or not? I have 3 identical hotends and I would even be willing to sacrifice one if I have to.

Cheers

It will work, I have had a cube X running on a rambo for about 2 years now.

Hi,

I done lot of mod on my cubex, hotends are really crap on it, but if you want try to reuse them they are 12v with 230k thermistor wired in the middle of the plug.

Hugues

Thermoster 5 in Marlin seems to work for me, I've seen some people say to use 52, but it gives inaccurate temp information
