Adapting j head for bowden?

Hey all I am new to this so i am hoping you can help....

I purchased this j head (yes I know its a knock off)

and I want to adapt it for a bowden setup. It is tapped for m10 1.0 pitch, but the closets I could find in push to connect was 1/8" BSPT. Should I re-tap the top of the hotend or is there something that I can print to adapt the j-head to a bowden setup? (I have access to a makerbot rep 2) If I were to re-tap the hot end, would I need to disassemble it?

I am not attached to using the push-to-connect adaptors so any info on using a j head in a bowden setup would be appreciated.

Thanks!!
