i did find an interesting frame to build my repstrap out of, it is a chair base, not has small has i would like but i think it will work nicely.

i think it should work well any how, any other people tried something like this.?

i am going to try to make it like mendle with the extruder on two axis and the bed going one one axis

Your worried about the size?

Lol

My RepStrap is twice as tall and just as wide as the chair.

It should do quite well as a Mendel RepStrap

Nice re-use case love this kind of re-cycling if you can design it so that you can still sit down while it prints that realy would be good.!

WOW - just think of the possible usable print area with that thing!
You could probably do 50 cm x 50 cm by 30 cm high!
Of course the build time would be also proportionally longer. spinning smiley sticking its tongue out
