Inspired by Nophead and Frank Davies I am starting to work on a short thermal transmission extruder. But instated of using a transistor or resistance in a TO-220 package I want to use nicrome wire. My plan is to use have nichrome wire and fire cement sandwiched between a 316 stainless steel washer (MCMaster-Carr 90965A170) on top and a copper washer (MCMaster-Carr 98044A224) on th bothom touching the nozzle.
for the tube I am planing on using 60mm 316 Stainless Steel rod (MCMaster-Carr 98863A270) and riling a 3mm hole in it.
