I have noticed the transparent screens that samsung have made and was wondering if you put one of them under a 3W LED and then display the layers of the object on the screen and have the print finished in a matter of minutes. Sorry if this has already been done as i have never looked into steriolithography before, just regular extruder stuff.

... the curing time with 'conventional' UV-LED's and DLP-beamers is roughly between 4 to 20 seconds per layer/slice ... so with around 100 layers per object (most parts have more layers!) it's a bit more than 1 minute anyway ...

I love it. How about a DLP pico-projector modded to use a ~10W UV LED?
