Is this possible? Using a J-Head and a Budaschnozzle together?

Is this possible? Using a J-Head and a Budaschnozzle together?

I've recently finished building a Prusa i3.

Long and the short of it is that I bought a set of plastic parts to start out with, along with a budaschnozzle hot end. Not realising that the set of plastic parts was for a J-Head.

So I ended up buying a fairly cheap J-Head with the intention of printing out the budaschnozzle parts.

However It got me thinking about making use of both of them. Is it possible to use two different types of hot-end together? I guess the biggest challenge would be getting them level, however wanted to see if anyone else had any thoughts on it, or if anyone had attempted it.

Many thanks.

It's possible but not without headaches. Matching extruders is fairly important. I'm part of the dual extruder beta members for printrbot and even with matching everything it hasn't been easy to get just right. Like I said its definitely possible, it's just a matter of how much time you want to spend on it. You can click on the link attached through my signature to see what I've done with the dual extruder beta.
