i am trying to make a 2 webcams scanner " LIKE " the kinect . the kinect uses one regular webcan , one infrared wecam and one unfrared emiting led.
i currently have 3d webcam and a infrared led from a remote.
think is this do doable.
advices?

I think the kinect has a infrared projector creating an array of dots, the displacement of the dots gives the depth, at least thats my understanding.
