Im looking into getting either laser or cnc capability on my delta. For lasers I found all I need incl software that writes the right gcode. For cnc I didnt. I only need it for light engraving work so my dremel should do fine. The fitting onto the printer I also dont worry about, I just cant find software that lets me keep my firmware and host software. The gcode generation should be simples than even the ones for laser work, so i theory I could try to generate "one layer deep" designs, but maybe two passes would be good to have.
So what tools are recommended for use within the normal 3d printer software environment.
