Sanguinololo V RAMPS

Am about to start building a Prusa, I already have a Mendel with Gen6 so I am printing my own parts.

I decided this time not to use the Gen6 boards though as they don't do heated bed control so I am looking at eiother RAMPS or Sanguinololo as I understand it so far the RAMPS board still needs an Arduino Mega as well or does the RAMPS board work as a standalone with nothing else needed?

I'm sure there will be other questions later

Definitely needs an arduino, that's the A in RAMPS. I believe 2560's are most popular but i think you can also use 1280's.

RAMPS rocks..

You can use a meaga 1280 or a 2560 but I think they is a reset problem with the 2560 plus the meag 1280 so cheaper.

I haven't had a problem with the 2560 with my RAMS 1.2. I haven't heard of the reset problem before either.
