Troubles uploading extruder firmware
June 02, 2011 04:58AM
I have been able to upload to the Sanguino from TechZone but, now I have trouble uploading to Extruder v2.2 Diecimila board.

I always get the very well known error:

avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x30
avrdude: stk500_disable(): protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0x51

I already tried lot of things:
- Checked the baud rate 19200 and 9600 ( I use for the Sanguiono)
- Diecimila is selected
- COM 4 Port was working with Sanguino and is still correct
- Checked my cabels severaltimes
- Tried also with external power supply on
- It is a Atmega 168 20AU (correct)
- Power light is OK
- And everything unpluged expect USB

Can anyone help me?

*sry wrong folder how can i change it.

try this

verify and compile the sketch
plug in the usb to the board. hit upload
press the reset button on the board when the window tells you the sketch size
then it should say done uploading.

let me know if that works for you

That might be the reason.
