Hello!
I am in need of increasing the contrast of my printers display. I had been looking at LCD and OLED but they are somewhat difficult to get a hold of if you want a really nice one. The cheaper LCDs wash out in a similar way when viewed from a distance.
I would really like to use a VFD however Noritake parallel panels are expensive. They also have embedded controller displays with only SPI that are comparatively priced with OLEDs.
If anyone can offer any information as to if there is any way an SPI screen can be added to an Arduino printer that would be neat. Specifically whether Marlin can send HD44780 commands over SPI in some way.
Thanks for reading!
