Fantastic bit of kit this. Takes all the pain out of sourcing parts, building, soldering and fiddling. Its really a plug & play device, installation couldn't be simpler, everything is clearing marked and works pretty much straight out of the box.

Our shipment got stuck in US Customs, we lost a day but today I get to pick it up smiling smiley

wow, what a very clean setup.

considering I've blown a stepper board before and I know a few people who have blown extruder boards I think I'd feel safer having it more modular like the pololu.

but this is certainly a nice and simple option to have it all integrated for you

I smoked a chip on my extruder board by unplugging only the 12v line (so the electronics was still grounded) and then changing around the wires to the motor.

my stepper driver fired when I had a bad MOLEX connector inbetween it and the stepper, I saw it *pop* a few times, from shorting, and my stepper was done after that. completely my fault, but it's not hard to do.
