RADDS LCD display mallfunction

I want to use a RADDS 1.5 and Arduino Due to control only the hot end temperature and the fans for cooling the print and for cooling the extruder.
But somehow I don't get my RADDS LCD to show something. It only beeps a bit and the screen is flickering.

Configuration:

RADDS LCD display to RADDS with the red wires of the ribbons in the correct positions.
RADDS 1.5 on regulated 24V 13.4A power supply.
RADDS 1.5 on Arduino Due.
Arduino Due Programm Port to USB of my laptop (Win 7) COM9.
Arduino driver version 1.2.2.0.
Arduino software loader and boarded to Arduino Due on COM9.
Repetier Firmware 0.92.8 uploaded to Arduino Due with success.
In repetier firmware (configurated with configurator 0.92.8) I indicated RADDS board and RADDS LCD.
Repetier Host and Server installed.

What did I miss? Is there something I have to adjust in configuration.h or uiconfig.h ?
Where can I get the information needed to install the display with success?

Please any help/tip or link to a source that I could not find yet?

Have you adjusted the contrast pot on the LCD?

I have a strange issue where I have to turn the contrast pot all the way up when I am running just the RADDS board through USB (or I just get the flickering screen like you), and then when I turn the power supply for the printer on, I then have to turn the contrast down (unfortunately I can find a middle ground setting that will display the LCD when I have USB and PSU)

With the pot either way it doesn't change a thing.

I think I don't have the correct uiconfig.h/configuration.h in my repetier firmware.
Would you have a working example for me?

Is it repetier firmware 0.92.8 that makes troubles?

In your uiconfig.h I see you chose a Type 5 (U8G supported display). Is this correct? shouldn't It be a Type 2 (4 bit LCD)?

Do you have a RADDS 1.5 like me?
